Total bullshit. The thing about being a server is, if you are one, you aren’t really doing it for your hourly wages. The tips are what you’re going into work for. They matter much more than a pay check does. If I’m being told that I should take care of a couple of tables and then pass them on to another server so that they can take me off the clock, of course I am going to be irritated by that. Not only did I do all of the work for those people, but now on top of that, the person who is taking over that table is getting paid by them for doing absolutely dick all but bringing the bill out. How the hell are you going to be mad at me for being irritated that I have to do all the work for no part of the tip whatsoever? Honestly, I am so angry at myself for thinking that serving for a couple of years before taking school completely seriously was a good idea. Excuse me while I go listen to angry music and be pissed off for the rest of the afternoon. At least I get to go to BP for dinner and a stag and doe tonight… but you know what would have made that better? MAKING MORE MONEY AT DINNER SO I HAD MORE CASH TO DRINK.

Yes, I just said cash to drink. Judge me.

Had a nice time at baseball and later watching movies with Jacqui. Closer is on Netflix now which is awesome. Now I’m having a nice cup of tea before bed.

Green tea is my saviour.

So lazy and sleepy. But, of course, I never actually nap when I have a good chance to do so. I really need to wake the hell up before baseball tonight. I can’t wait to just lay in bed when Curt is off work until we have to go. 

Also, I just found out there’s a taco truck downtown every Tuesday. EXCELLENT.

Attempting to get some sleep now. I’m fairly exhausted, so it shouldn’t be too hard. Just ONE more work day to get through. Eep.

PS my neighbours have a boston terrier and I want us to get one so much more now. SO CUTE.

ARC Battle Finals tomorrow and camping for Allison’s birthday on Saturday… it’s going to be a good weekend!

I can’t believe tomorrow is already Friday. Not that I’m complaining. Hopefully today and tomorrow are exceptional tip days. I really do wish we had a patio at our restaurant. Tomorrow is the ARC Battle Finals at Elements downtown Kitchener. If you’re from around here, you should definitely check it out. It’s going to be quite the party, as usual.
